“So your placenta supposedly gives you second sight, helps open your third eye. This is according to my mother,” Kesha explained. “So she stuck it in the oven. She put it in a box, and she found it when I was like 21 years old in the basement.”

“We found it,” the musician continued, referring to the box with her placenta in the basement. “Throw it in the blender, pop it in a necklace.”
According to the “Blow” hitmaker, it was no easy feat for her mom to save the temporary organ.
“They tried to take my placenta away from her at the hospital, and she, like, f**king threw a conniption fit,” Kesha confessed. “She fought for that. So now I carry it around.”

The Grammy-nominated artist then held up the chunky gold necklace containing her placenta, and Cooper, 31, asked her, “Do you travel with that everywhere?” to which she responded, “Yeah.”
“I love a ritual that reminds me of this, like, esoteric world I prefer to live in. Like, down here on earth, boring,” Kesha shared of her reasoning for holding onto the necklace. “But like when I go up into like with my spirit guides and the whole realm of angels, like, that’s where I prefer to be. It’s kind of fun.”
