Kendra Duggar’s Parents Are About to Become Grandparents in Their Thirties!

The next Duggar baby on the way is Joseph Duggar and Kendra Duggar's. The pair is expecting their first child — a baby boy — in just four months, on June 17. The little bundle of joy will be the first grandchild for Kendra's parents Christina and Paul Caldwell. Fans have often joked about how young (and attractive!) Paul and Christina are, but we bet you didn't guess that they're about to become grandparents in their thirties!

Yes, you read that right. Though we don't know Christina or Paul's exact birthdays, his is reportedly in 1978 while hers is in 1980. That would mean Christina is 38 years old while Paul turns 40 this year. The pair tied the knot in 1998, when Christina was 18 and Paul was 20, and they immediately had Kendra, who is now 19. They also have six younger children, so they've made a lot of progress (though not quite as much as the Duggars.)

Fans have had their eye on Kendra's parents for some time now. "How come the parents are so beautiful?" asked a fan after seeing their wedding. "They look so young!" said another. Even earlier, fans' interests were piqued. “Are you sure that’s Kendra’s dad and not her brother??? He looks so young!” said a fan after Joe asked Paul for permission to court Kendra. “Thats Kendra’s father? He looks young and hot what! But that doesn’t negate how they are.”

By "how they are" that fan is probably referring to the fact that Paul, who is a Baptist pastor in Arkansas, literally said, "there are no such things as homosexuals.” Um, okay? It's not really surprising from someone associated with the Duggars. That same way of thinking is why Derick Dillard got fired, after all. Unfortunately not everyone can be as attractive on the inside as they are on the outside!
