Katie Holmes Stuns in a Little Black Dress at Nordstrom’s NYC Flagship Opening

She’s one hot mama! Katie Holmes looked stunning in a little black dress on the red carpet at Nordstrom’s NYC flagship opening on Tuesday, October 22. The 40-year-old actress paired her outfit with some cute black tights and even added a touch of red lipstick to complete the look. Katie wasn’t the only A-lister there, though, as other celebrity guests including Karlie Kloss, Winnie Harlow and Anna Wintour posed for photos throughout the night.

Not only was the evening full of glitz and glamour, but the new store — which is located on West 57th and Broadway — is 320,000 square feet, according to Business Insider. Yes, you read that right. In addition to buying clothes, you can find seven eateries, a spa, a Nike boutique and much more. Sounds like heaven to us, to be honest.

The Dawson’s Creek alum — who shares her daughter, Suri Cruise, with her ex-husband, Tom Cruise — has been out and about all over the Big Apple lately. On October 16, Katie was all smiles as she took a phone call during the day. Prior to that, Katie rocked a cute trench coat while running around the city.

It seems like the mom of one is doing well ever since she called it quits with her longtime boyfriend, Jamie Foxx, in August. The former flames were together for six years before they split up. They had been arguing “nonstop over his partying,” a source exclusively told In Touch at the time. “He’s always turning up to Hollywood parties and L.A. events and being photographed with other women. He’s always been this way. That’s part of why Katie was so hesitant to go public with their relationship. He can’t help himself.” Since then, Katie has been leaning on her family including her 13-year-old daughter. “Her main focus is raising Suri, whom she’s so proud of,” an insider revealed. “Being a mom and an actress is enough for her right now.”

However, it seems like the Ohio native is open to a new romance with someone else in the future. “’New decade, new beginning’ is how Katie sees it,” a second source told In Touch. “It’s taken Katie no time at all to get over him. He’s already a distant memory, and she’s more than ready to love again. In fact, she’s currently dating up a storm!”
