Katie Holmes Is ‘Not Opposed’ to Dating Again After Jamie Foxx Split

She’s not sweating it! Actress Katie Holmes is recently single after her split from longtime boyfriend, Jamie Foxx. But insiders exclusively revealed to In Touch the 40-year-old is doing just fine and while she’s not planning to rush into dating just yet, she’s not against the idea of finding someone new.

“Her main focus is raising Suri [Cruise], whom she’s so proud of. Being a mom and an actress is enough for her right now,” the source claimed. “Of course, she’d like to meet her soulmate, but she’s not discouraged. She’s not dating right now, but she’s not opposed to it either.” The insider added, “Katie is living her life, she really is in a happy place. No one needs to worry about her.”

Katie Jamie, 51, were together for six years but were a rather private couple throughout their relationship. Ultimately, the Dawson’s Creek alum decided to call it quits because she couldn’t deal with their long-distance relationship anymore, and the duo had also been arguing “nonstop over his partying.” And that was just the start of their issues. “He’s always turning up to Hollywood parties and L.A. events and being photographed with other women,” a source told In Touch of the actor. “He’s always been this way. That’s part of why Katie was so hesitant to go public with their relationship. He can’t help himself.”

The “Blame It” singer, on the other hand, has been spotted several times with up-and-coming performer Sela Vave since news of his split from Katie broke in August. He was seen partying with her at the Bootsy Bellows nightclub in Los Angeles in the early hours of August 17 — before the breakup was revealed — and the two have sparked relationship rumors since.

But Jamie flat-out denied that the two are in a relationship on August 21. “People are saying I’m dating the girl, let me just say this, that’s absolutely not true,” he said on “Big Boy’s Neighborhood” on Real 92.3. “I know the nature of the business that we’re in, so I don’t trip on headlines … I got a 25-year-old daughter and I don’t date in my daughter’s range … ever!”

Maybe neither of the former lovebirds is seeing anyone officially these days! Katie, at least, seems totally fine with it.
