Kate Gosselin Shares an Umbrella With Bodyguard Steve Neild on Rainy NYC Outing: See the Photo!

A rainy day in the Big Apple! Kate Gosselin was spotted on a stroll with her bodyguard, Steve Neild, in New York City on June 10. The reality star dressed to impress for her outing, wearing a bright blue frock which she managed to keep dry by walking under his umbrella.

For years, fans have wondered if there was more than just a working relationship between Kate, 44, and her married bodyguard, as he was shown helping out with a myriad of tasks while appearing on Kate Plus 8. However, Kate described the rumors as “unthinkable and unfathomable.”

The TLC alum’s former flame, Jon Gosselin, has even commented on Kate and Steve’s bond before during an interview. “I speculate, but I don’t know,” he previously said while appearing on Good Morning America. “When they were traveling together, I felt jealous. Here I’m Mr. Mom. And then there’s some other guy traveling with my wife,” the reality star explained about his stance.

Kate and her ex, Jon, 42, share eight children together, twins Mady and Cara, as well as the sextuplets — Hannah, Leah, Alexis, Joel, Aaden and Collin. The mother of eight let her romantic life take a back seat for several years, as her divorce from Jon was finalized in 2009, but now she’s getting back into her groove! The reality star’s new show, Kate Plus Date, premieres tonight, June 10, on TLC and she explained why it’s so important for her to focus on love at this point in time.

“It’s been so long since I’ve had a companion,” Kate dished. “That’s such a foreign concept to me. Before I decide to grow old alone, I should probably give it a pretty decent shot of looking around for someone.” It looks like Kate had a blast while filming the dating show and she even spilled that her daughter Mady made her crack up with her commentary.
