‘Kate Plus 8’ Premieres Tonight and This Sneak Peek Will Stress You Out
They’re baaaaack!
It looks like our favorite mother-of-eight Kate Gosselin is returning to TV with her six 13-year-olds and her 16-year-old twins in a mini-season of Kate Plus 8 beginning tonight, July 10, at 10 p.m. EST on TLC.
And in a sneak peek for the limited-run addition to the show, it’s clear things are just as hectic as ever for the Gosselin crew! In preparation for a Halloween party, it seems eight angsty teens in the kitchen can cause some serious drama.

“All I remember about making cupcakes is that it was a loud mess,” the 42-year-old says to the camera. “There was a ton of people in the kitchen — too many, probably. Kids were yelling at kids for doing a horrible job. It was just crazy.”
Between the sibling rivalry and overall crowdedness in the kitchen, it seems Kate had a lot on her plate while prepping for the party.

“We did get carried away,” Kate says. “There was just a lot of creepy foods going on.”
As the blonde beauty will continue to broadcast life with her eight children, patriarch Jon Gosselin is unsurprisingly absent from the clip. The 40-year-old recently sat down with In Touch and discussed his time on reality TV.
“I wouldn’t be here today if I would have made different choices. Who knows who I would have met?” he told In Touch when asked if he has any regrets about his life. “I guess doing TV was the best and worst decision I made. There is good and bad with every decision.”

He shares his eight children — twins Mady and Cara, 16, and sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel, and Leah, 13 — with ex-wife Kate and isn’t sold on the fact that his children like life in the spotlight.
“I love my kids and I am happy they are financially taken care of, but who knows what the aftermath of filming or being famous will affect them as young adults [sic],” he said.
