Kate Gosselin on Her Future Role as a Grandma: “I Could Have Sextuplets All Over Again”

Kate Gosselin is already thinking about life as a grandma!

The reality star opened up to People in a candid new interview, and revealed her dreams of one day becoming a grandma. The mother-of-eight already has quite the packed house, but she knows her family is only going to double in size in the years ahead.

"Six of my kids could have babies in the same year – I could essentially have sextuplets all over again," Kate said to People. "And you just know my kids will all say, 'Oh, you've handled more than this, you can babysit, you're fine.'"

The mommy even plans on ditching her traditionally strict parenting style in regards to her grandchildren, and will opt for a more "relaxed" approach to grandma-hood.

"I did my uptight parenting thing," she continued. "I can't wait to be the grandparent who is older and wiser, and who is able to swoop in and out, and offer advice and be more laidback."

In the same interview, Kate revealed her son Collin is no longer living at home, and is now enrolled in a program that will provide assistance for his special needs. Further, her 15-year-old twin daughters Mady and Cara made a heartbreaking confession about their strained relationship with dad Jon Gosselin.
