Kate Gosselin Calls out Fake Instagram Account Claiming to Be Her Daughter’s: “Please Delete Immediately!”

Don’t mess with mama bear! Kate Gosselin took to Instagram on Sunday, Aug. 20 to share a sweet snap of her dog wearing a raincoat, but the conversation quickly turned to Alexis. The Kate Plus 8 star revealed that her 14-year-old daughter is being impersonated online and asked fans for help to get it removed. People quickly rallied behind the reality star mama this time, but that’s not usually the case. The 43-year-old is no stranger to backlash and most recently was slammed online for letting Mak — aka one of the family’s dogs — kiss her kiddos on the mouth. “The love between my human children and my furry children continues to melt my heart on a daily basis!” Kate captioned the sweet snap. “Mak just can’t love us enough — and we feel the same about him! We adore him!”

Immediately, however, people began commenting on the pic, with many sounding downright disgusted. “Ew,” one person simply wrote, while another added, “For someone who was such a germaphobe, I’m surprised you allow your dogs to lick your kids’ mouths.” A third chimed in, “I love animals but even doctors say don’t kiss them or let them lick you in the mouth. They put their noses and mouths everywhere we don’t want to know. Just saying.”

The TLC personality often posts pics of her family on Instagram, and it’s rare when her followers are completely happy with what she shares. Earlier this month, she posted a pic of her “silly kids,” but people were quick to point out that one important sextuplet was missing. “Is Collin the one not there?” one person asked, while another said, “Missin collin :(((” and another asked, “What happened with Collin?”

Kate recently revealed that her son was enrolled in a program that assists children with special needs, and now people just can’t stop asking about it. Fortunately, the young reality star is thriving in his new environment. A source close to the mother-of-eight told Hollywood Life last year, “Kate doesn’t want Collin on camera very much because all the stimulation can be difficult for him.” They added, “Kate decided to send him to a facility because she thought it was best for him. Now it seems that Collin is flourishing, and he’s responding very well to one-on-one instruction. He definitely finds it easier to function and cope better without all the chaos that his home life entails.” We’re so happy to hear!
