‘Kate Plus Date’ Star Kate Gosselin Admits She and the Kids Are Ready for Summer: ‘1 Million Percent, Yes!’
Time to soak up the sun! It’s been an eventful few weeks for Kate Gosselin and her eight kids. The reality star’s oldest children, Cara and Mady, recently graduated high school and now, Kate shared how incredibly excited (and ready) she is for summer break.
“Alexis and Zorro. The best of friends! ❤️❤️ #Zorro #SixYearsOldAlready #BlackCappedConure,” the reality star, 44, captioned her new pic on June 4. When a fan asked if they were all looking forward to some rest and relaxation in the comments, Kate responded, “one million percent YES!”
As fans may recall, Kate and her ex-husband, Jon, welcomed their first two kids, twins Cara and Mady, in October 2000 and a few years later, their sextuplets — Hannah, Leah, Alexis, Joel, Aaden and Collin — were born in 2004. Since then, they’ve practically grown up in front of our eyes. So of course, fans were feeling some nostalgia when she shared a pic of her twins getting their diploma.
“This post is a little delayed (mostly due to post graduation exhaustion lol) but I’m still beaming with pride,” the TLC alum wrote. “It’s hard to believe that Cara and Mady graduated from high school this past weekend … and are headed off to college in the fall! Where did the time go????”
Kate praised her daughters for their recent accomplishments and said she has nothing but high hopes for their futures. “These girls are going places and I can’t wait to see where they end up,” the reality star gushed. “Cara and Mady, I love you so very much and I’m just so so proud of YOU!”
Looking ahead, the Kate Plus Date star revealed how the family bird might not be too keen on Alexis leaving for college down the line. “Seriously, I don’t know what I’ll do! He calls her name ALL day long when she’s at school and once she walks through the door, he’s frantic for her to hold him,” she wrote. It looks like Zorro will just have to adjust … or maybe Alexis will bring him along!
