Kailyn Lowry Slammed for Feeding Her Kids Unhealthy Foods ‘Full of Dyes and Fillers, Ugh!’

We love junk food as much as the next person, but it seems like some of Kailyn Lowry‘s fans don’t. When the Teen Mom 2 star showed off her newly organized pantry on Wednesday, September 17, fans weren’t impressed by her stock of snacks. Though some praised her super neat home, others slammed her for her cabinet full of processed foods and artificial ingredients. Taking to Twitter, the mom of three’s followers let her know exactly how they feel.

“Awesome!” one fan said, praising how orderly the pantry is. “But way too much junk food.” Another weighed in, “That’s just a bunch of processed s–t. All her kids eat is boxed food and pizza.” A third agreed, “Junk and canned vegetables.” In another tweet, a fan called the photo Kail, 27, shared “horrible,” writing, “Processed, high sugar/starch/sodium … full of dyes and fillers. Ugh.” One optimistic fan chimed in, “I hope you have another pantry with healthy snacks.”

That’s not all, though. Others called out the stockpile of water bottles Kail kept at the bottom of the closet. Though it’s generally a good idea to keep a case or a gallon of water in case of emergency, fans suspect that the drinks were more for regular use. “The plastic water bottles are KILLING me and this earth,” complained a commenter as another added, “Please buy a Brita filter.”

The Teen Mom star didn’t seem to care about the criticism, though. Ignoring all the hate, she admitted that she does tend to indulge in eating unhealthy foods when she gets the chance. “Am I the only mom who doesn’t cook for herself when my kids are with their dads?” she tweeted. “Like, OK, I guess I’ll eat chips for dinner. 😂”

One fan took the opportunity to nag the mom about another subject, though: vaccinating her kids. After complimenting the hard work Kail put into finishing her cleaning project, they continued, “Now schedule appointments for vaccines since you have some free time.” Back in January, the blonde beauty revealed that she’s anti-vax, and her ex Chris Lopez just did the same. “I mean, I guess the only thing I can really say and continue to stand for is to parent how it’s best for your child and family,” she told In Touch about the controversial topic. “People don’t love everything I do but I don’t shove my beliefs down anyone else’s throat. I know what’s best for my kids and other parents know what’s best for theirs.”
