There’s nothing she can’t do! Teen Mom 2 fans have been wondering if Kailyn Lowry ever graduated from Deleware State University — and she totally did! The now mother-of-three walked in her school’s graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 13 of this year — and she couldn’t be any happier that she finally accomplished a goal that took her six years to reach.
“We did it!” the then-pregnant 25-year-old wrote on Twitter along with a photo of herself and a pal wearing their caps and gowns.
Fans of the MTV reality series have watched Kail struggle through her time at DSU, often juggling a full course load with being a mom of two small children — she shares seven-year-old Isaac with her ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera and she shares three-year-old son Lincoln with ex-husband Javi Marroquin — and she previously opened up about her struggles in a blog post.
“Between teen motherhood, financial hurdles in the beginning, then moving to a new state, marriage, babies, and divorce — and then of course just wanting to give up, I (barely) held on and I’m FINALLY graduating!” she wrote. “This has been an extremely long and emotional road for me and for my family.”
It might have taken her a while, but Kail earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and it appeared as though her boys were there to watch their mom walk across the stage and accept her diploma — along with her longtime pal Rebecca Hayter.
But just because she already achieved her goal doesn’t mean she’s slowing down anytime soon! The ambitious blonde beauty recently revealed that she plans to attend graduate school, though it’s unclear how long she’ll wait to enroll in a Master’s program. The reality star welcomed her third child, a baby boy, back in August with her ex-boyfriend Chris Lopez.
