Kailyn Lowry Is Hoping Chris Lopez Will “Change His Mind” and Step up as a Father (REPORT)

Kailyn Lowry may have a tough exterior, but when it comes to her third baby daddy, Chris Lopez, she's more emotional than she lets on. Although he has no interest in being filmed — or being in the baby's life at all — the Teen Mom 2 star reportedly is hopeful that he'll have a change of heart.

A source close to the 25-year-old told Hollywood Life, "Kailyn is praying that Chris has a change of heart and he will want to be a dad after the baby is born. Kailyn’s own father upped and left when she was really young, so she knows what it’s like to grow up without a dad, and she really doesn’t want the same for her baby." The source added, "Chris has said he wants nothing to do with Kailyn or his child, but she’s hoping against hope that he will change his mind once he sees photos of the baby. Kailyn doesn’t have any desire to get back with Chris romantically, but she thinks it’s really important for their child to have him in his or her life. The thought of her baby having to grow up without a father to guide and love him or her absolutely breaks Kailyn’s heart."

Just last week, the mom-of-two hinted that he may have cheated on her after she commented on co-star Briana DeJesus' tweet and said, "Sounds familiar," and "I was dealing with the same thing." The reality star is already a mother to Isaac, 7, with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera and Lincoln, 3, with ex-husband Javi Marroquin and is expecting "Baby Lo" literally any day now.

"She’s still very, very angry with Chris but she’s trying not to let those emotions take over,” another insider told Hollywood Life. “She wants to stay happy and positive for her kids; she hates it when they see her crying. She’s not letting her anger take over but she’s certainly not going to let Chris just skate away on this." Only time will tell how this will all play out!
