She’s keeping her fingers crossed! Kailyn Lowry opened up in an interview about her relationship with baby daddy No. 3 Chris Lopez — and revealed whether he’s been involved in her new child’s life. Chatting with Radar Online, Kailyn, 25 — who welcomed her third baby on Aug. 4 — revealed that Chris was with her during their son’s delivery despite prior doubts that he wouldn’t show up.
“I think he has been as supportive as he can,” the Teen Mom 2 star said. “He does the best to his ability even though it doesn’t necessarily meet the standards of what everyone else expects of him. I think people need to keep that in mind.”

Kailyn, who broke up with Chris earlier this year, added, “But just based on how our relationship has been there was always a question whether he would have his phone on him or would he be at work. I’m so glad that he came.”
As previously reported, Chris was not around during the majority of Kailyn’s pregnancy — especially after they called it quits on their relationship in May. “Kail became a relationship of convenience for him,” an insider told Radar Online. “He never actually loved her. It was a relationship, but he just decided he wanted something different and things didn’t work out so they went their separate ways.”

The mom-of-three — who shares son Isaac, 7, with ex Jo Rivera and a three-year-old son, Lincoln, with ex-husband Javi Marroquin — took to her blog in April to let fans know that she was concerned about raising her third child on her own.
“I think I’m most worried about the changes ahead, but also that I will have this baby 24/7 by myself with no help,” the MTV personality wrote at the time. “I’m going to be a single parent from the beginning!”
