Justin Bieber set the record straight after fans noticed that he seemingly unfollowed his wife, Hailey Bieber, on Instagram.

“Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife,” he wrote in a since-deleted Instagram Story on Tuesday, January 21, per Us Weekly. “S–t is getting suss out here.”

Earlier on Tuesday, eagle-eyed fans saw that the “Baby” singer, 30, had stopped following the Rhode founder, 28, on the social media platform, but she still followed him. However, In Touch confirmed that Justin is following Hailey on Instagram again as of publication. Additionally, the model continues to follow her husband.

Justin also reportedly unfollowed former managers Scooter Braun and Allison Kaye, former Drew House creative director Ryan Good and former bodyguard Kenny Hamilton this month. Hailey’s dad, Stephen Baldwin, was also reportedly unfollowed, sparking rumors of a feud.

The temporary unfollowing of his wife came after Justin — who welcomed his first child, son Jack Blues, with Hailey in August 2024 — called the socialite “the greatest woman I have and will ever know” in an Instagram Story on Monday, January 20.

The couple has recently faced a wave of rumors about marital issues. Many fans and pop culture commentators dissected social media posts that Hailey and Justin shared, speculating that they made have been directed at each other. In December 2024, the “Peaches” hitmaker shared a selfie on his Instagram Stories with the song “B.E.D.” by Jacquees, using lyrics that described a man who only wanted to hook up with a woman instead of wanting love.

Hailey seemingly responded not long after by sharing an Instagram Story of a screenshot featuring lyrics from SZA and Kendrick Lamar’s song “30 for 30.”

“But if it’s f–k me, then f–k you,’” the highlighted portion read.

Hailey and Justin also seemingly spent the holidays apart, with the influencer spending time with friends Lori Harvey and Justine Skye in Anguilla.

Amid the speculation about their relationship, Hailey seemingly fired back at fans with a TikTok video on December 30, 2024. She reposted a video on her Instagram Stories of TikTok user eyegotthyme repeatedly telling viewers, “You’re not well, and it’s OK.”

Over the clip, Hailey wrote, “Me to all of you on the internet,” adding the heart hands emoji.

Justin and Hailey, who tied the knot in September 2018, previously faced split reports in March 2024. A source exclusively told In Touch at the time that the skincare mogul had been considering asking her husband for a trial separation.

“Hailey’s struggling,” the insider said. “She just needs time to sort things out on her own. … Hailey’s not asking for a divorce. She knows Justin feels hurt and confused, but she feels lost too. She just needs a break.”

Hailey later denied that her marriage was on the rocks in an Instagram post. “Just FYI the stories and constant ‘blind items’ I see on TikTok are 100 [percent] of the time wrong. Made out of thin air… come from the land of delusion. So I know it may be fun feeding into these stories, but just know they’re always false, xx sorry to spoil it,” she wrote.

The mom of one also opened up about how the speculation about her marriage has affected her, telling W Magazine in July 2024, “People have made me feel so bad about my relationship since day one. ‘Oh, they’re falling apart. They hate each other. They’re getting divorced.’ It’s like people don’t want to believe that we’re happy.”
