From Bates to Balka! Bringing Up Bates star Josie Bates, 19, married her fiancé Kelton Balka, 23, on Friday, Oct. 5, in an outdoor wedding ceremony at Cove Lake State Park in Caryville, TN. The couple got engaged in back in June, and some of Josie’s family members played very special roles in her wedding ceremony.

Josie’s father, Pastor Gil Bates officiated the ceremony, and Josie’s older sisters Erin Paine and Tori Bates performed music for the ceremony on piano and violin, according to Us Weekly. Josie’s brother Lawson continued his family tradition of writing a special, personalized song for the newlyweds.

The couple also incorporated their family members into their wedding party. Josie’s sister Alyssa Webster was her matron of honor, and her sisters Katie Bates and Carlin Bates were bridesmaids. Josie’s sister-in-law, Whitney Bates, who is married to Josie’s brother Zach Bates, and Kelton’s older sister, Ariana Balka, were also bridesmaids.

Wedding guests were treated to cheese balls, sandwiches, and a wedding cake made by Josie’s aunt Kay. Also in attendance were members of another large, famous reality TV family — the Duggars! The Bates and the Duggars are very close friends, so it makes sense that Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar attended the nuptials with their children Jedediah Duggar, Joy-Anna Duggar, and Jackson Duggar. The couple’s son, disgraced former reality TV star Josh Duggar and his wife Anna Duggar were also in attendance, according to Radar.

Josie and Kelton have been friends since 2014, but Kelton popped the question back in June after five months of courting. “I cannot wait to marry the love of my life,” Josie wrote in her engagement announcement on Instagram. “Couldn’t have dreamed of a more sentimental engagement.
