If Any Duggar Breaks Free, Fans Think It’ll Most Likely Be Josiah

Out of all the older Duggar kids in the family, Josiah Duggar has always stuck out. Blame it on his pink collared shirts, his bowtie, or his over-the-top personality, but there has always been something about the now 21-year-old that makes him different from his siblings. As you might know, the family's strict faith doesn't allow the kids to have a whole lot of freedom. Instead of being regular teenagers with typical adolescence experiences, the Duggar kids mostly just wait around to be courted. They're not allowed to listen to non-Christian music or watch secular movies or TV shows, so most of them don't really have many hobbies. In fact, some think the kids are mere copies of their parents with very little variation in personalities. But then there's Josiah. For some reason, fans don't see him as yet-another Bill Gothard-bot.

According to a former Duggar employer, even he thinks Josiah is the most rebellious. "Josiah is gonna be the next one to bust out," they said earlier this year. "He's a little bit crazy… He's a 90-mile-an-hour guy. He drives 90 miles an hour, he moves 90 miles an hour, he thinks 90 miles an hour." The source later told a story where Josiah, in his recklessness, almost killed someone with his car. "This is a car they bought from one of the sales over there," they said. "It had a banged in front end, he got in at just – 90 miles an hour off the back of a roll-off truck right into another car." Yikes — that doesn't sound like typical Duggar behavior to us. The Duggars that we know are about following rules, not breaking them. Does this mean Josiah is going to be the first Duggar to officially "break free"?
