The Duggar family just keeps on growing!
We have another wedding to look forward to now that Joseph Duggar popped the question to his new fiancée Kendra Caldwell at his sister Joy-Anna’s wedding on May 27 — and now he’s spilling all about the proposal.

And before you ask — yes, the 22-year-old had his younger sister’s permission before getting down on one knee nearly two hours into her wedding reception!
“I was definitely nervous going into it, but I wasn’t afraid that she was going to say no, because she has said, ‘I’m just waiting on you!,’” he gushed of his bride-to-be, also 22.

The two met through the church, and while they haven’t sorted out a lot of the details about the wedding, there’s no hiding the fact that these love birds are looking forward to saying “I do!”
“I’m so happy and so shocked. There are so many words I want to say, but [I’m] just shocked. I had absolutely no idea,” Kendra gushed. “He had the ring in his pocket so when I went to go help myself and grab mints out of his pocket, he grabbed at his pocket and I pulled my hand away. But then I quickly forgot about it.”
The two are wasting no time — and admitted they are considering a fall wedding. With lots of Duggars already married off, Kendra is looking to Joseph’s sisters for wedding inspo.
Like his siblings, the two will definitely get hitched near their hometown in Arkansas.

“We are definitely going to stay in the area. We love working ministry here at the church and we can see ourselves being very involved with the church and doing a lot of those things together. That’s really where we’ve spent the most time together, just ministering together,” Joseph explained. He added, “We love our church and both of our families live in this area. We will be here for now unless the Lord calls us somewhere else to minister.”
