People really do collect everything, huh? A Colorado memorabilia collector named Andrew Novick, who made a documentary about the pink tricycle once owned by beauty queen JonBenét Ramsey, now wants to sell it — and with a hefty price tag, according to Radar Online. Andrew has owned the three-wheeler for 22 years and is now looking to sell it for around $100,000. He told Radar, “Collecting the tricycle spawned ideas, spawned creativity – and it keeps the story alive.” But apparently, he doesn’t want to be the keeper of the bike any longer.

Andrew explained that the tricycle is currently in his garage at his home in Denver just collecting dust. He told the online outlet, “Once I made the movie it kinda made the tricycle famous, and, I think, if I’m going to sell it, now would be the time. I kind of [have] gotten my use from it so I think someone else can take it on its next journey.” That’s right — one lucky bidder will take home this rather creepy reminder of a horrific crime to help continue its “journey,” and it could be you. Yay?

BOULDER, CO — The 15-room home where JonBenet Ramsey was found murdered on Dec. 26, 1996.

JonBenét was found dead on Dec. 26, 1996 in her family’s basement. She was reported missing early that morning by her mother, Patsy, in what initially seemed like a kidnapping and ransom situation. Her killer was never found, though there is some speculation her own family was involved; in fact, her older brother Burke is still trying to prove his innocence to this day.

Weeks after her death and after hearing JonBenét’s family moved out of the home, Andrew found the bicycle in a pile of items left in an alley behind the house. His documentary around the bike, JonBenét’s Tricycle, featured at several film festivals, Radar reported. So if the “toy of a murdered child” angle isn’t enough to entice bidders, it’s also technically a film collectible. Make sure to get your bids in if that’s your thing, I guess.
