As Gucci Mane would say, they’re so icy! Jinger Duggar took to Instagram on Tuesday, Sept, 12, to let fans know that she took her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, ice skating for the first time. According to the 23-year-old Counting On star, she and her man had a blast channeling their inner Tara Lipinskis. Learn more in the video below!
Jinger and Jeremy’s ice skating date comes one day after Jessa Duggar revealed that it was the former soccer player’s style that initially caught her little sister’s attention. “I remember what you were wearing that night because Jinger told me that she loved this certain kind of sweater, and you were you were wearing that sweater. And so I thought, ‘Oh, Jinger would really like this guy’s style,’” Jessa, 24, explained.
As fans are well aware, fashion is a big part of Jinger and Jeremy’s relationship. Since the couple tied the knot last November, Jinger has frequently shocked fans with envelope-pushing sartorial choices — tank tops! pants! heels! — that step outside the bounds of the Duggar family’s strict dress code.

In the past, the Duggar family has been open when it comes to their mostly modest wardrobe. “We do not dress modestly because we are ashamed of the body God has given us; quite the contrary,” Jinger, Jessa, Jana, and Jill Duggar wrote in their 2014 book, Growing Up Duggar. “We realize that our body is a special gift and that He intends for it to be shared only with our future husband. We avoid low-cut, cleavage-showing, gaping, or bare-shouldered tops.”
Not only has Jinger rebelled against her family by showing off her shoulders, she also moved far away from her home state of Arkansas to settle down with Jeremy, 30, in Texas. It has even been speculated that Jinger and Jeremy use contraception, a big no-no in the Duggar family.
