Jessa Duggar Hilariously Claps Back at a Fan Who Congratulates Her on Baby No. 3

Hold up, is Jessa Duggar pregnant?! That’s certainly what one Counting On fan recently assumed. The mother-of-two — who shares sons Spurgeon and Henry with Ben Seewald — took to Instagram on Wednesday, Aug. 23 to share a sweet snap of her boys playing in the dirt, and while many commented on how simple and sweet it was, one person used it as an attempt to stir the pot.

“They are so cute! Congratulations on you’re [sic] 3rd!” they wrote. In response, Jessa clapped back, “Thank you! I didn’t know I was pregnant.” LOL.

Yet this isn’t the first time the reality star mama has shut down the rumor mill. In fact, the last time she did so, she managed to make a lot of enemies on the Internet. The 25-year-old posted a picture to her Instagram story in the typical fashion of a baby bump selfie. But, instead of announcing her pregnancy, she fired back at her haters. The comments were taken from a reddit thread posted by user FieldElbow with the caption, “Jessa is such a b—h lol what the hell does she expect her family gained a following for pushing out children?” The redditor is, of course, referring to the extensive Duggar Family tree — consisting of two parents, 19 kids (20 if you count their adopted grand-nephew, Tyler) and 12 grandkids.

That said, there’s no Duggar rule that states the women of the family must be pregnant at all times. Surely, there’s some grace period. Some fans agreed with that sentiment and quickly came to Jessa’s defense. “If someone kept asking me if I was pregnant, I’d punch them in the face, TBH. Don’t know how Jinger put up with it for as long as she did,” one user wrote.

Others were just plain relieved, “Shrug, I really don’t care one way or another. I’m just pleased that none of the adult Duggars are going down the same path as their mother. Babies are not puppies y’all.”
