Jessa Duggar Once Cooked the Same Pot Roast as Jill, and Fans Are Impressed She Added Fresh Veggies

Behold! A pot roast made with fresh vegetables. Jill Duggar was recently ~roasted~ for her pot roast (that seemed to be missing the roast), but now several eagle-eyed fans have pointed out that Jessa Duggar made the same recipe and it looked pretty dang good. While the former Counting On star made hers with moldy carrots and whole potatoes, her little sis opted for fresh-cut veggies and gravy. 

“Y’all, I’m no fancy chef, but this was wayyy too easy not to share,” Jessa wrote on Instagram back in January. “Hubby grabbed a roast at the store the other night, and I must admit — I’ve NEVER made a roast before in my life. ?Googled ‘crock pot roast’ last night, and this was the first to come up. ??‍?” She continued, “Guys, I literally spent less than 10 min chopping potatoes and onions and throwing everything in the crock this morning, and now…THIS DELICIOUSNESS!!! Here ya go. You’re welcome.”

Ya hear that, Jill?! She CUT UP the veggies. What a concept.

The mother-of-two has been #blessing us with her “God awful” recipes lately. Most recently, she received backlash for her hot sauce pizza, which yes, is exactly what it sounds like. “Why is that cheese so orange/yellow? Is that natural?” one person asked. Another added, “Pizza looks like ????,” and a third chimed in, “It’s not delivery… it’s DISGUSTING.” 

Of course, we can’t totally blame Jill for using cans. After all, she grew up with 18 other siblings, so fresh produce was hard to come by. That said, she’s now only cooking for a family of four, so it couldn’t hurt if she popped by a farmer’s market every now and then. In fact, it would do the opposite of hurt because right now we’re in physical pain seeing these recipes, which sometimes look like actual vomit.
