The couple, who recently celebrated their one-year anniversary, revealed the moniker on their website, explaining their baby boy’s namesake, Charles Spurgeon, was a British preacher who was considered England’s “best-known” preacher in the eighteenth century.
In a video for TLC, the new mom, 23, explains that their baby has been nicknamed Quincy since conception — though dad, 20, notes that they felt strongly about naming their bundle of joy after an influential figure in both of their lives.
