Jeremiah Duggar and Wife Hannah ‘Overjoyed’ to Welcome Baby No. 3: Meet Daughter Emy

Still a girl dad! Jeremiah Duggar and his wife, Hannah Duggar (née Wissmann), announced they welcomed baby No. 3, their third daughter.

“There’s absolutely nothing like meeting and falling in love with a new baby!!” Jeremiah, 26, and Hannah, 29, captioned several Instagram photos of their newborn on Sunday, May 19.

“We are overjoyed to welcome to our family Emery ‘Emy’ Jane Duggar,” the duo added, revealing their little girl’s name. The couple also shared that she was born six days earlier on May 13.

In the accompanying photos, Emy was seen wearing a white pinafore with a maroon bow on her head of brunette hair.

Family members flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages.

“She’s such a doll! So excited for you all!” Jinger Vuolo (née Duggar) wrote, while Jill Dillard (née Duggar) got the same vibe, adding, “Congratulations guys! She’s a doll!” Jason Duggar‘s wife, Maddie Duggar (née Jones), cheered, “So happy for you guys!!!

The couple shared the news that they were expecting baby No. 3 on Christmas Eve in 2024.

“Life with our little girls has been wonderful and we are so excited about adding a third little girl to this group late next spring!” Jeremiah and Hannah wrote in a joint post.

After tying the knot on March 26, 2022, the couple wasted no time in starting a family.

Jeremiah and Hannah’s first child, daughter Brynly Noelle, 2, arrived in December 2022. Brielle Grace, 15 months, was born in February 2024, so the couple will have a full house with three children under the age of 3 with the addition of Emy.

Both Jeremiah and Hannah come from large families. He famously has 18 brothers and sisters, who were featured on TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting. Hannah has 12 siblings, who are part of the family’s gospel band.

The couple’s respective parents have been longtime friends, as Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar, and Loren Wissman and Gloria Wissmann, are close and their children grew up knowing each other.

Jeremiah isn’t the only Duggar married to a Wissmann. His older sister Jana Duggar tied the knot with Stephen Wissmann on August 15, 2024.

Jeremiah and Hannah’s love story first came to light in October 2021 when he introduced fans to the woman he was courting. “Never been so happy. Never felt so blessed!!” the former TLC star captioned several photos of the couple.

He continued, “Getting to know each other has been one of the greatest joys of our lives! We are excited to start sharing our story with all of you and to see what God has in store for our future,” along with the hashtag, “my girlfriend.”

Jeremiah announced in January 2022 that he proposed, sharing a series of photos from the big moment, including getting down on one knee. “She said YES!!!!” he declared in the caption. “Hannah, getting to know you for the past year has been so incredible! I can’t even find the words to describe it. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me and I cannot wait to marry you. I love you!!”

Two months later, the pair tied the knot at the Lilac Hill wedding venue in Louisville, Nebraska, near where the Wissmann family lives.

After Jana, 35, and Stephen, 31, married at The Grand at Willow Springs in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, Jeremiah joked about the newlyweds when posing for a photo following the ceremony.

“I liked the last Duggar/Wissmann wedding better, but this one was great too,” he wrote about the nuptials, which were attended by 500 guests. “Congratulations Stephen and Jana! We’re so happy for y’all!!”
