On Wednesday, July 15, sources told TMZ that a potential buyer had pulled out on Tuesday after putting down a “substantial” deposit on the $50 million home.
The brokers on the listing are Branden Williams and Rayni Williams of the Beverly Hills Estates, and on Monday, July 13, Williams confirmed to The New York Post that the property was in escrow.
While Williams did not reveal the purchaser’s identity, he said the man is in “tech and finance,” and “everybody knows his name.” It’s unclear why the buyer changed his mind on Tuesday.

After tying the knot in July 2022, the “Jenny from the Block” singer, 56, and the Argo actor, 53, purchased the property in May 2023 for about $61 million and reportedly spent a larger amount of money on renovations, per The New York Post.
The couple then decided to sell the house in July 2024, initially listing it for $68 million. The Office Romance star filed for divorce from the two-time Oscar winner the following month and the pair finalized their divorce in February 2025. Eventually, Affleck opted to give Lopez his portion of the estate.
