Fans Think Jenelle Evans and Husband David Eason Are High in Lip-Syncing Snapchat Video

Is Jenelle Evans back to her old ways? That's what Teen Mom 2 fans are thinking after the MTV star uploaded a video to Snapchat of her lip-syncing alongside husband David Eason. In the clip, Jenelle and David can be seen singing as they drive in their car — but many followers are calling out the couple for their strange behavior.

"And obviously wasted no time getting stoned out of their minds. And what's with him stroking her arm like that?" one concerned fan tweeted, before another added on reddit, "They do seem as though they are just being silly and having a great time, until the snap when David pets her shoulder. The way he rubs her is very typical of someone on [ecstasy].” However, plenty of people came to the duo's defense, saying it looks like they're just having a good time.

These allegations come after it was revealed last year that Jenelle's daughter Ensley tested positive for drugs at the time of her birth — and her ex Nathan Griffith's mom Doris filed for emergency custody of her grandson Kaiser. “Upon the birth of Ensley, the newborn tested positive for marijuana,” Doris allegedly said in court docs. “DSS [The Department of Social Services] became involved due to Ensley testing positive for marijuana and opened an investigation. Upon information and belief, both Plaintiff and David had positive drug screens for marijuana.” However, Jenelle, who is also mom to eight-year-old son Jace, claimed her mother Barbara was behind the custody dispute.

"Doris made accusations but I can tell you that Barbara has a lot to do with them… Doris threw her own son under the bus by admitting that he has pending felonies and [is] possibly on drugs. Her emergency filing was against me and Nathan both," the mother-of-three told E! News. "I can tell you that they are allegations, driven by my mom, and she didn't get her emergency custody. That speaks for itself."

Longtime viewers will remember that Jenelle has a history of drug abuse, which she admitted once cost her $2,800 a week. "My first trip was amazing. I won't glamorize the drug by going into the long details of why people love it so damned much," Jenelle wrote in her book about her heroin addiction. "Before I knew it, I was shooting up four or five times a day. I was hooked."

She continued, "It hurt my heart, made me sick to my soul that I couldn't see my son. I filled that hateful void with more drugs. The drugs always made the pain go away. They didn't turn on me or betray me. I guess heroin was my first steady, dependable lover. It gave me what I needed to live and I gave it my life." We're hoping Jenelle is staying healthy and sober.
