Jamie Foxx Looks Dapper in an All-Black Suit at TIFF Party After Kate Holmes Split

He’s back into all work, all play mode! Actor Jamie Foxx has been keeping himself quite busy in the weeks following his split from actress Katie Holmes. The 51-year-old is set to star in the upcoming film, Just Mercy, and he’s currently promoting the movie at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). But of course, he made sure to enjoy himself at and he stopped by The Hollywood Foreign Press Association and The Hollywood Reporter‘s Toronto International Film Festival party at the Four Seasons Hotel on Saturday, September 7.

Jamie looked sleek and chic in an all-black suit and a gray hat. Jamie attended the party after he spoke at the Just Mercy press conference panel earlier that day. The film is set to be released on December 25, 2019, and Jamie costars with actor Michael B. Jordan in the legal drama.

It looks like Jamie is distracting himself with his work after his recent breakup. As In Touch previously confirmed, Jamie split from his longtime girlfriend, Katie, and insiders said his partying ways were part of the reason they called it quits.

“Jamie and Katie have been arguing nonstop over his partying. For months he’s been promising to calm his wild ways, but nothing’s changed and she’s finally come to the conclusion that she wants to be with a guy who’s more mature and ready to settle down,” an insider told In Touch exclusively last month. “She also can’t keep an eye on him when he’s in LA and is fed up with doing the whole long-distance thing so gave him an ultimatum — either move to NY or it’s over! He refuses to leave his hometown so she called it a day.”

It also didn’t help that when Jamie did go out for his nights on the town, he didn’t try to “hide his flirty ways” with other women. “He’s always turning up to Hollywood parties and L.A. events and being photographed with other women,” another insider exclusively told In Touch. “He’s always been this way.”
