Jackson Roloff is on the move! The Little People, Big World star is only seven months old, but he’s already learning how to walk — with a little assistance! Proud mama Tori Roloff took to Instagram Stories to document his first steps. Watch the video below to see for yourself!
On Thursday, Dec. 21, Tori opened up about some misconceptions about motherhood. “One thing I’ve heard a lot lately on social media, and tv, and even in person has me a little upset… I hear people talking about how ‘life is over’ when you have a kid. I think this is such a lie,” she wrote in a caption of a photo with her husband, Zach Roloff, and Baby J.
She continued, “I have found life after having a kid. I’ve found something I can completely pour my soul in to and something that gives me purpose. I hear people tell others that ‘ah it’s all over from here’… what is? The fact that I can’t stay out all night partying (that’s cool my bedtime is 9 anyway). Having a kid is honestly a gift I know I don’t deserve from God. Life isn’t over when you have a kid… it’s only just beginning!” So sweet!

Over the summer, Zach opened up about his baby’s development and the challenges he might face raising a son with achondroplasia (the same form of dwarfism Zach has). “You have to encourage a dwarf child a little more because it will take them five steps to do what others can do in two. But I knew, dwarf or not, I was going to parent my child with the mentality that not everyone gets a trophy,” the 27-year-old told People in July. “The world is changing. People are more open to diversity. Whatever he wants to do, we’re going to find a way to help him do it. That’s our job in life now.”
