After her most recent rehab stint, Heather Locklear has reportedly become a hoarder. The former Melrose Place actress is filling her home with expensive items that are simply gathering dust, and a source exclusively tells In Touch magazine that Heather’s lawyer believes the only way to solve the problem is a conservatorship.

“Boxes and racks of new clothes, shoes, etc,” a source tells In Touch magazine exclusively about the belongings that are piling up in her house. “Unworn and unpacked stuff, worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. All have new tags.” If Heather is put under a conservatorship, a judge would appoint a guardian or trusted loved one to be in charge of making medical and financial decisions for the actress.

Heather, 57, was recently placed on psychiatric hold on Nov. 18 after allegedly assaulting her boyfriend, Chris Heisser. The actress has been going through a rough time this year, as she was arrested back in June for allegedly driving her car into a pylon on her property after drinking a bottle of tequila. Heather was reportedly heavily intoxicated when the cops arrived, and she was later taken into custody for police battery. Once she was freed, Heather was rushed to the hospital for an alleged overdose.

Prior to that, the actress was whisked away in cuffs on Feb. 25 for drunkenly attacking her on-again, off-again boyfriend, in which she reportedly bit him on the nose. “When she drinks a certain amount, she just unloads,” Chris’ father Peter Heisser previously told In Touch. “She has a very quick temper, and I don’t know that she realizes what she’s doing in that situation. She’s lost. Chris took Heather a couple times to [rehab], and she stays for a certain period of time. But she gets anxious and wants to come home. It’s difficult. It hasn’t changed.”

Despite her latest struggles, Heather’s ex Richie Sambora, 59, and father of their 21-year-old daughter, Ava, is doing his best to support her. The rocker said he “will not waiver on always being there for [Heather] getting the best help possible.”

Meanwhile, Heather’s loved ones have also been expressing their concern for her well-being. “If Heather doesn’t stop drinking, she is going to die,” a close friend tells In Touch magazine exclusively. “She has to get better. This is her last shot.”
