Hayley Hasselhoff Arrested, Charged With DUI After Falling Asleep at the Wheel
This is so scary.
David Hasselhoff’s daughter Hayley, 24, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after she passed out behind the wheel on an LA freeway this weekend.

According to the police report obtained by TMZ, who broke the story, Hayley was driving her white Mercedez on the 101 around 4 a.m. when the car came to a stop at an off-ramp; onlookers called 911, and when authorities arrived on the scene, they found Hayley asleep at the wheel, with her foot on the brake.
When they were able to wake Hayley, they regained control of the vehicle and got the aspiring actress — whose credits include Huge on ABC Family and Sharknado — to perform a field sobriety test, which she failed.
She was arrested and then taken to the hospital; after she was medically cleared, she was taken to a nearby jail, where she was booked.

So far, neither Hayley, nor her father have commented on the situation.
The elder Hasselhoff’s history with alcohol has been both problematic and well-documented. In 2007, a home video surfaced showing the famed Baywatch actor in a drunken stupor while his older daughter, Taylor, can be heard telling him, “Tell me you are going to stop. Tell me you are going to stop,” before warning him that he is putting himself in risk of losing his role in the Las Vegas production of The Producers.
Shortly after it was leaked, he confirmed that it was recorded by his daughter so he could see his troubling behavior, adding that the video was leaked deliberately — though it has never been confirmed who leaked the video.
In 2015, he opened up about his decision to attend AA meetings and said, “It is my responsibility to do the best I can and to take it one day at a time. But alcohol can become deadly. The scariest is when you go into a meeting and you’re like, ‘Where’s Steve?’ and they said, ‘Oh, Steve died last night.’ It’s a very scary, deadly thing that needs to be addressed.”
