‘A Double Shot at Love’ Star Pauly D Is Single and Ready to Mingle: ‘I Am Still Out There Looking’

On the market! Even though Pauly “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio didn’t find love on the MTV show A Double at Love, it doesn’t mean he is giving up on finding his soulmate.

“It was really dope to do that show, to meet those girls,” the 39-year-old told Whitney Ullman at Harrah’s The Pool After Dark in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on Saturday, July 6. “Unfortunately, I did not find love, so I am still out there looking and hopefully, she is at the pool right now.” So, what has life been like for the dad of one since the show wrapped? “It has been wild,” he confessed. “The response has been overwhelming.”

Nikki Hall and Derynn Paige were the final two girls, but Pauly ended up picking neither of them. Since then, Nikki vented about her relationship with the Jersey Shore star on Twitter after fans questioned the legitimacy of their connection. “Let’s get one thing clear. It was VERY mutual, and he was just as INTENSE! Y’all want to make me out to be clingy and [crazy] over a situation [you know] NOTHING about,” she wrote in a since-deleted tweet on June 28. “I fed off his vibe and lead but behind my back, he mocked my [feelings], humiliated me publicly and have yet to say ‘I’m sorry.’”

During the reunion — which aired on June 27 — the Rhode Island native revealed why he blocked Nikki on social media after their romance fizzled. “It was just a lot,” he said. “The paragraphs and stuff, it was just a lot.” Pauly acknowledged that he did have feelings for Nikki at one point but claimed that’s why he pulled away. But Nikki claimed that since she didn’t fly to Las Vegas, that’s why he shut her down. “That’s bulls—t,” he responded. “Because you did.”

Afterward, Nikki updated her fans on Twitter about what went down between her and Pauly. “Let’s get this straight  … I am VERY impulsive, and when I’m pissed, I see red,” she wrote. “We know this. But I find it very funny for someone to say they care (or in their defense, FAKE care) solely to manipulate and mock my real emotions PUBLICLY! I had EVERY right to defend myself!”

On July 1, Nikki continued her rant and wished she could take back what happened on TV. “I regret giving my heart to a coward, and I regret falling for a lie but better to have loved and lose than to not have loved at all,” she said.

But it seems like Pauly doesn’t have any ill will towards any of his exes. “Yeah, you know what, I wish the best to everyone,” he said. “I saw some of the girls today — they were at my show earlier. So, no bad blood with anybody.”
