Coco Austin Denies She’s ‘Exploiting’ Daughter Chanel on Social Media

Little Chanel Nicole is only a week old, but the newborn is already a social media star.

Coco Austin and Ice T welcomed their little girl on November 28, and the proud parents have been eagerly sharing updates and photos of their daughter ever since. Now, some fans are claiming that the stars are "exploiting" their daughter.

"Coco darling don't exploit your newborn beautiful lil angel," a follower wrote on the star's Facebook page on Friday, but the new mom was quick to defend herself.

"How is this exploiting her?" Coco asked. "I'm proud that I'm finally a mama…does she not look happy?"

Ever since she gave birth to her baby, Coco has created social media accounts for her daughter, and posted regular updates on the newborn's developments, her hospital visit, and her experiences as a first-time mother.

"My little miracle," Coco wrote, alongside a photo of herself and her daughter, who was wearing a "miracle" hat. "Yes, I'm such a proud mommy!!"

Chanel arrived several weeks early and weighed only 5.7 pounds when born. The first few days, spent in the hospital, were an emotional journey, Coco admits.

"This week has been the best moment in my life," she said when she posted a photo of herself and her daughter in the hospital. "I wish I could bottle up all of the emotions…going through hospital pics comes close enough."
