Catelynn Lowell Leaves for Rehab on ‘Teen Mom OG’ — and Tyler and His Mom Are so Supportive

So heartbreaking. Teen Mom OG fans were shocked when Catelynn Lowell announced that she would be going on a second rehab stint after experiencing suicidal thoughts back in November, and she bravely allowed MTV cameras to document her decision process. In a sneak peek for tonight's episode, she broke down in tears as she revealed to her husband Tyler Baltierra's mom that she's leaving for treatment and she received nothing but love and support from her mother-in-law. Tyler's mom is so sweet! Cate and Ty have been together since they were both in middle school, so Cate has a very special mother-daughter type of bond with his mom. But it looks like Cate is very loved and she has a really strong support system in her family — and her hubby is her biggest cheerleader ever. He took to Twitter to share the clip from the episode and he reflected on how difficult it was for him to see his wife struggle with her mental health issues.

"As hard as it is to watch this…I’m just so proud of my wife for being strong enough to not give up on her life. She comes home in [five] days [and] I can’t wait to hold her in my arms again [and] just show her without words, what safety, security, [and] unconditional love feels like," the 26-year-old wrote.

Since the show is filmed months in advance, the episode featured footage from Cate's second 30-day rehab stint — which happened shortly after Cate suffered a devastating miscarriage and it triggered her depression and suicidal thoughts. But last month, Cate took to social media to reveal that she was entering rehab again for the third time.

"Well they say third times a charm…I'm going back to treatment people for [six] weeks to work on my trauma and getting on different meds," she tweeted. "THANK YOU @TylerBaltierra I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!! You are my light!! And Nova you are my sunshine #KeepTalkingMH."
