Bunnie XO is clearing the air after fans thought she was joking about Bert Kreischer’s tour bus fire.
Bunnie, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, shared an Instagram Reel showing what she looked like just one day after undergoing a facelift. The podcast host’s face was severely swollen and she joked that she “looked like Bert Kreischer.”
However, shortly after Bunnie, 46, posted the video, Kreischer, 53, shared that his tour bus had burned down while he was on tour.
“I was asleep when the Bert bus happened. [I] would never make fun of my friend’s sadness,” Bunnie wrote in the comments section of her post. “I was meaning bc I’m red and eyes are swollen. S/o to my boy @bertkreischer we love you.”
On Sunday, March 15, Kreischer shared a post to Instagram that showed the charred remains of his tour bus.
“We are all safe but my bus is gone,” the comedian captioned the picture. “God works in mysterious ways.”
He later opened up about the terrifying incident while speaking to People that same day. Kreischer revealed that the bus had blown a tire while driving on the interstate at around midnight, which had led to him and his team getting off the bus.

“It was a fluke accident,” Kreischer told the publication. “We hit nothing, and it was no fault of the driver’s. We waited outside for a couple hours.”
The Machine star and his crew then split up into two other buses while the driver stayed behind to wait for the original bus to be repaired. He explained to People that the driver heard a loud pop and “within a matter of seconds, the bus was filled with smoke” and the bus went up in flames.
“Me, the other comedians, my assistant and my trainer are all very lucky,” Kreischer told the outlet. “The Lord works in mysterious ways.”
He added, ”As annoyed as we were to blow out a tire on a highway in a snowstorm in the middle of nowhere, we are all counting our blessings today that we weren’t on the bus when the fire broke out.”
