Briana DeJesus Reflects on Her Relationship With Javi Marroquin: “Seeing How Fake Everything Was Hurts”

You go, girl! Teen Mom 2 star Briana DeJesus took to social media on July 2 to address her brief, but controversial relationship with Kailyn Lowry’s ex Javi Marroquin, and let’s just say things got emotional! Check out the video above to see what the mother-of-two had to say.

For those of you who might need a refresher, Briana and Javi began their taboo relationship back in September 2017 — though, the Internet was shipping them long before that! At first, they seemed to be a picturesque pair. Between packing on the PDA and blending their beautiful families, fans thought these two might just be in it for the long haul. Unfortunately, fans were dead wrong.

Bri and Javi eventually called it quits in January 2018 and things got messy. "Javi and I are not together anymore," Briana told Blasting News at the time. "Our future just doesn't line up. He doesn't want me to get my surgery for a breast lift, lipo, and tummy tuck … because it'll look bad on his name at work. Also, I don't plan on moving in with him in the summer, and for these reasons, he broke up with me."

Of course, the story didn’t end there! Shortly after their split, news broke that Javi was having a baby with his new girlfriend, Lauren Comeau. Allegedly, Lauren was already six months pregnant at the time of the baby announcement, which means there was some definite crossover between Javi’s relationship with Briana. Ouch!

Considering all of this (and more) played out on MTV’s most recent Teen Mom 2 episode, it’s understandable that Briana would take to social media afterward to express herself. Despite her somewhat aggressive posts in the past, her latest responses prove that she’s just trying to move on.
