Sorry, Shauna Sexton! Ben Affleck Is Moving On To One Of Meghan Markle’s BFFs (EXCLUSIVE)
Shauna who? Apparently, Ben Affleck has already moved on from his 22-year-old Playboy model ex-girlfriend. Now, he’s royally smitten with someone new — and it’s Janina Gavankar, his co-star in his upcoming flick Torrance. But the actress isn’t just known for her professional work. She also just happens to be tight with royalty as one of Meghan Markle’s closest friends.
“Janina isn’t just sexy, she’s a good actress, no-nonsense and a hard worker — all qualities that Ben is attracted to,” a source tells In Touch about the 46-year-old actor’s budding romance. “She’s also a singer and performer and reminds him of [his former fiancée] Jennifer Lopez.”
Apparently, they’ve been getting close on set, and though their characters have plenty of baggage between them, they’re feeling the love IRL. “Janina plays Ben’s ex-wife in the film,” the source clarifies. “There’s definitely chemistry there.” And we know he’s not opposed to a little on-set romance. After all, that’s how Ben ended up with his two most famous exes. He and J.Lo started dating while filming Gigli. As for his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, the actor explained in an interview with Playboy in 2017 that they met while filming Pearl Harbor and they fell in love while shooting another, Daredevil.

As for Janina, 37, we haven’t heard about any past on-set romances. But as for her friendship with Meghan, the two go way back. The royal mom-to-be has said she and the former True Blood star have been friends for 15 years, and they met as aspiring actors building their careers in Hollywood. Janina even attended the royal wedding in May, calling it “a powerful day of love and union.”
“As far as I know,” says the source, “she’s not in a committed relationship right now, so dating Ben could be a real possibility. He’s definitely interested. Pretty soon he could be double-dating with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex!”
