The past few weeks have been an emotional rollercoaster for the family of Bobbi Kristina Brown. But now there appears to be a glimmer of hope for her loved ones.
The young woman’s aunt Leolah Brown says the 21-year-old is “doing better” — she’s even opened her eyes — and the recent improvements have the family “hopeful” about her recovery.
“There are so many signs showing us that she will be okay,” Leolah explains of her niece. “Krissi is fine.”

Earlier this week, it was reported that facial injuries on Bobbi Kristina’s face motivated authorities to launch a criminal investigation — a decision Leolah supports, explaining she “has her reasons” to believe Nick will be found guilty.
“I believe Nick Gordon will be charged with this… I hope that he will be charged with this as well. Soon,” she tells Fox 5 Atlanta. “I really do.”

This comes shortly after it was claimed that Bobbi Kristina and her long-time beau, 25, were allegedly involved in a domestic dispute days before the young woman was found face down in her bathtub.
An incident report explained a neighbor called police claiming "people were hitting each other" at a nearby residence. Though names weren't specified, the address listed was that of the townhouse where the young couple live.

Despite earlier suspicion, Leolah insists self-harm isn’t responsible for Whitney Houston’s daughter landing in the hospital, where she remains in a medically induced coma.
“Krissi would never do anything to herself. Everybody in the family knows that,” she says. “There’s no doubt in my mind. Krissi loved life too much.”
