‘My 600-lb Life’ Star Alicia Only Leaves the House to Buy Food: “I Feel Like an Animal”

There's no doubt in Alicia's mind that she's addicted to food. The My 600-lb Life star in an upcoming episode explains how eating is the only thing she's living for — and it's negatively affecting her life and relationship with her boyfriend, Tim. When Tim and Alicia first started dating, addiction was something they had in common, but Tim has since kicked his drug habit while the 32-year-old is still controlled by food.

“Tim got clean, and now I’m the one killing myself," she admits. The once bubbly woman's health is compromised at 622 pounds. "Alicia doesn’t want to do anything at all. She just wants to sit in front of the TV and eat," Tim explains. "It’s frustrating because we have a life to live together… It’s like she’s a totally different person. And our relationship has grown stagnant."

During the two-hour-long episode, viewers will watch Alicia struggle to complete simple tasks like getting in her car to go to the grocery store. She admits that if she didn't have to go to the store after eating all the food in the house, she'd never go outside. "I can feel people looking at me. I can feel their stares," she adds. "I feel like an animal that people are looking at to see what I will put in my cart next. But, I ignore it all because when I see all this food especially all the carbs and sweets, it makes me feel happy."

We hope that Alicia is able to get the help she needs in the new episode. If she's able to tackle her addiction, then there's no reason why she can't get her life back!
