‘ABP’ Star Rain Brown Confesses She Can’t Get out of Bed Because of Depression: ‘Some Days Are so Bad’
It seems like Alaskan Bush People star Rain Brown is having a bit of a tough time lately. On her Instagram page, the teen opened up about how she’s been feeling — and confessed that sometimes, she can’t even bring herself to get out of bed. Though she often shares her mantra of #staystrong and #stayhappy with her fans, she’s not always able to be both of those things herself. And on Wednesday, January 30, she had one of those days. In the comments, her big brother Bear Brown offered some words of support. “You’re my strength princess!!!” he wrote with a string of emojis showing off flexed muscles, hearts, and a girl wearing a crown. But having trouble getting out of bed is something that Rainy has talked about before. Back in October 2017, she got candid about her struggle with depression amidst her mom’s then-ongoing cancer treatments.

“For the past few days, I’ve been struggling with some things, such as my depression, life, and some teen girl probs too (ya know a broken nail???) and I couldn’t figure out why I was in such bad shape,” she wrote. “I stayed in bed for about four days with minor aches and pains and I couldn’t find out a reason, it bothered me so much, I lost any want to be healthy or motivational; I was just a husk. But just now, in the middle of the night, it occurred to me: Sometimes you don’t have to have a reason, sometimes you don’t have to be perfect and somedays you just feel like staying in bed and watching old @simplynailogical videos and that’s OKAY!”
Now that her older brother Matt Brown is back in rehab, we hope she follows his example and seeks help when she needs it. But if she needs a day to be in bed, then we totally get it. #Staystrong, girl. But know you don’t always have to #stayhappy.
