Matt and Gino Face Off Over Jasmine! ’90 Day: The Last Resort’ Season 2, Tell-All Part 5 Recap

The explosive 90 Day: The Last Resort season 2 tell-all has finally concluded after part 5 aired on April 28, 2025. The episode was jam-packed with drama, including a long-awaited face-off between Jasmine Pineda’s boyfriend, Matthew Branistareanu, and her estranged husband, Gino Palazzolo. Matt Branistareanu Was ‘Scared’ When Jasmine Pineda Revealed She Was Pregnant

The episode opened with Matt joining the tell-all via video chat and admitting to the cast that he was “pretty scared” when Jasmine told him she was pregnant with their first child.

“Since I was young, I’m running from getting married or having children, but I’m getting to the age, you know, where it’s time for me to grow up, maybe have kids. But I was definitely scared when she told me,” he said.

Jasmine added, “It took us by surprise because we were taking all the precautions. I was like, we couldn’t believe it was happening.”

90 Day Fiance’s Gino Palazzolo and Matt Branistareanu Face Off

Host Shaun Robinson asked Matt what he wanted to say to Gino. He responded, “I’m not the type of person that’s going to sit here and argue with Gino about what happened there, what happened here. They asked me to come into some open relationship. I agreed. I don’t know. I was just friends with her. I don’t have to go after anybody’s woman or anything.”

Matt also said that anyone who treats their wife “like a d–khead” is not “going to get anywhere with her” and will end up “arguing all the time,” which made Gino angry. He told Matt to “shut up,” adding, “You don’t know anything.”

“Overall, after all this was done, I regret agreeing to open marriage,” Matt said. “But I felt like I was trapped in a corner. Like I had to make a decision, take action because nothing was working for us.”

Matt again said that Gino treated Jasmine poorly, which led Gino to begin arguing with the actor.

90 Day Fiance’s Jasmine Admits She Regrets Not Going Back to Panama

While Matt told Shaun that he loved Jasmine, she admitted that she wasn’t sure if she loved him back.

“I’m figuring that out, Shaun. I don’t know if I’m having emotional attachment to him. I don’t know if that is love. I don’t even know what love is anymore,” Jasmine said. “I don’t even know what it is for me to be in love. I don’t have an answer for that. I do care about him. I feel safe with him, I feel protected, I feel well taken care and I like that feeling. But I don’t know if I love him.”

Jasmine also said that she will “never be able to hate” Gino. “I know that a lot of people have questioned the reasons why I came to this country, like if I used Gino, but I think that deep in his heart, he can say whatever he wants to people, but he truly knows how much I love him. And I know that I wasn’t the perfect wife, I made so many mistakes,” she added.

Gino said he hasn’t been intimate with anyone else since the open marriage began, and Jasmine was asked if she regretted going into an open marriage. She said that she regretted “everything.”

“I think that I should have been braver and I should have just, when I knew that I wasn’t being happy, and it was not what I expected when I moved to America, I think that I should have had the courage just to pack my bags and go back to Panama,” the former teacher said.

90 Day Fiance’s Stacey Tells Florian to Go Back to Albania

Therapist Heidi Clapham suggested during part 5 that she believed Florian Sukaj and Stacey Silva had a tendency to “fall into a parent-child role a lot.”

“We definitely see that this that it’s not an equal balance there. Florian needs to step up and he hasn’t at this point and Stacy has to allow him to step up,” she added.

Florian took issue with this, as he believed that he treated Stacey more like his child, rather than the other way around. Stacey told Florian to show respect before she stormed off the stage. Florian left the stage soon after.

“You know, I’m very disappointed about Florian lashing out. I just feel like he needs to learn to tone it down and find a way to voice it in a professional manner. It’s unacceptable and I’m not taking this anymore,” Stacey said.

After reuniting with Florian, she told her husband, “Maybe you should go to Albania for a little bit.”

“I might take a note out of Sophie’s book and just do my own thing for a while. Is Florian going to be OK with that? I don’t know, but I have to do what’s right for me,” she added.

Later, Florian said, “Me and Stacey have the best relationship, and that is clear. We’re living here the most happy.” Meanwhile, Stacey explained that she couldn’t say at that time if she wanted to give up on the relationship yet or not.

90 Day Fiance’s Rob Warne Says He’s ‘Filing for Divorce’ From Sophie Sierra

During part 5, Rob Warne reflected on his relationship with Sophie Sierra and revealed that they were heading toward a divorce.

“I wanted really badly to be able to get through this tell-all without Sophie and I at each other’s throats. But it’s very evident that Sophie will never be a good partner for me because she cannot and will not forget any of the past, and she will always have whatever in her pocket to try to say that,” he said. “It’s just wild to make me look like I’m invalid. Whenever I decide to speak up about some of the actual s–t that I went through while we were together, Sophie starts saying outlandish, wild s–t, it’s like her go-to immediately.”

He added, “I’ll be filing for divorce sooner than later, especially after today.”
