90 Day Fiance’s Jasmine Says ‘One Day’ She’ll ‘Hopefully’ Take Matt ‘Out of the Friend Zone’

90 Day Fiancé star Jasmine Pineda seemingly hasn’t shut the door on a romantic relationship with Matt Branistareanu just yet.

“I know true love exists because I see my man trying to do everything just to make me happy,” read a quote Jasmine, 38, shared on her Instagram Stories on Friday, May 2.

“And one day, I will hopefully reciprocate and take him out of the friend zone,” the mom of three added in her own thoughts.

Matt, 37, and Jasmine were thought to be a couple when In Touch confirmed that she was pregnant with baby No. 3 and her estranged husband, Gino Palazzolo, was not the father.

“Almost certain it’s the Matt guy,” a source told In Touch on January 6.

Jasmine later confirmed the pregnancy the following month.

“I have very special news. Let me announce to you that I am pregnant. I am so happy and excited, and I cannot wait to meet my beautiful baby,” she said via the official 90 Day Fiancé Instagram account.

Jasmine’s pregnancy caused some confusion with fans regarding the paternity of the child because, at the time, she and Gino, 56, were working on their marriage during 90 Day: The Last Resort. Viewers saw Jasmine and Gino around with the idea of participating in an open marriage with Matt during season 2, the former couple confirmed during the tell-all that they had split.

“Normally I come in here and I have good news for you, but today I don’t. Because Jasmine and I, we separated,” Gino explained during the March 31 episode.

Jasmine gave birth to daughter, Matilda “Matty,” in March, and she and Matt announced the news on April 8.

“Introducing Matty, our sweet baby girl! She’s already filling our hearts with so much love and joy,” the TLC personality said in a statement to People at the time. “We’re beyond grateful for this new chapter in our lives.”

Photos of her and Matt holding Matty were published, and they very much looked like a couple. Plus, Jasmine had been consistently sharing photos via Instagram that seemingly implied that she and Matt were romantically involved, including a moment when she praised Matt for his support during the labor and birth of Matty.

“I love Matt’s gesture in this picture,” Jasmine wrote alongside the image. “He kept saying to me, ‘Honey, I’m so sorry.’ He could clearly see how much pain I was going through.”

However, Jasmine later shocked fans by revealing that she wasn’t in a romantic relationship with Matt.

“I got pregnant by Matt but all we have was like, I don’t know some friends with benefits,” Jasmine said in a video clip reshared by 90 Day Fiancé Breaking News. “After the open marriage didn’t work, Matt and I became friends with benefits, and now we are coparenting our daughter and that’s it.”

The following week, she gave fans more clarity on her love life.

“[I’ve] always been honest. At this point I don’t love neither Matt or Gino,” Jasmine wrote alongside a clip from the 90 Day: The Last Resort tell-all via Instagram on April 24. “I just want to be alone and to be left alone.”
