90 Day Fiance’s Ariela Has Had an Impressive Weight Loss Transformation After Welcoming Son Aviel

Hard-working mama! 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Ariela Weinberg has been giving fans major fitness inspiration and has undergone a weight loss transformation since becoming a TLC star. Keep reading to see her workout journey over the years.

In November 2020, Ariela previously revealed that she lost nearly 50 pounds after welcoming son Aviel on December 17, 2019.  

The TLC star shared how she obtained her slimmer figure while spilling all of the details about becoming a first-time parent in an Instagram Stories Q&A at the time. Ariela recommended breast-feeding to new moms, which she has done for over 11 months now. “Weight training helps a lot. I don’t eat much late at night,” the TV personality added about her fitness and diet secrets. 

Ariela seemingly showed off her post-baby body in beaming portraits she shared to her Instagram page in November 2021. “Living my 12-year-old grateful dead tie-dye dream,” the season 2 star captioned the playful photos of her posing outside in a colorful dress.  

Viewers saw the moment she welcomed her bundle of joy via emergency C-section during the midseason premiere in October of that year, and they have continued to follow her story with boyfriend Biniyam Shibre on the spinoff.

When asked about the most important lesson she learned after Aviel’s birth, the reality star sounded off. “As mothers, we are the world for our children,” Ariela wrote. “If we are lost or upset, the world turns dark and stormy for them real fast. There is no taking a day off from a baby. We need to show strength even when we feel we haven’t got any left. That little guy depends entirely on me … just wow!”

The New Jersey native also shared insight about their bundle of joy’s citizenship status. “He has Ethiopian residence like their version of a green card,” Ariela shared in the Q&A. “They do not allow for dual citizenship.”

Since season 2 aired, Ariela and Biniyam have returned to the franchise for season 9 of the original show, 90 Day Fiancé.

Preparing to live together in New Jersey after moving from Kenya, the couple experience some ups and downs throughout the season, including with their extended family. “We treat you like a sister,” one of Biniyam’s siblings said to Ariela in a sneak peek clip shared by Entertainment Weekly.

“I’m not going to marry you guys. I’m marrying Biniyam,” Ariela responded before a glass of red wine was hurtled at her, drenching her face.

However, despite all the drama, it seems that the pair eventually walked down the aisle.

90 Day Fiancé Instagram blogger @90daycouple shared photos of their wedding ceremony seemingly taken by Ariela’s brother Brad and posted to his Instagram Stories in December 2021.

The apparent location of the ceremony was Congregation Kehilat Shalom, a synagogue based in Central New Jersey.
