’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Nicole Isn’t Wearing Her Engagement Ring on Her Left Finger — Is She Still With Azan?

Is the engagement still on? Our heads are spinning trying to keep up with 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After stars Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou‘s relationship ever since the season finale aired last month. TLC aired an hour-long special after the tell-all that was supposed to be Azan and Nicole’s wedding special but there was no wedding because they called it off — and now Nicole posted an extremely cryptic message on Instagram.

In the shot, Nicole held onto a lanyard around her neck with what seemed to be her right hand, putting what seemed to be a diamond engagement ring on display. But Nicole was wearing the ring on her right ring finger, and as dedicated investigative journalists, we tested it out to be sure that the camera didn’t reverse the image.

When taking a selfie on a phone’s forward-facing camera and uploading it as an Instagram story, the image does not get reversed at all. Same can be said if the selfie was taken using the forward-facing Instagram camera and the forward-facing Snapchat camera. The only time a selfie was reversed is when the photo was taken using a phone’s forward-facing camera, then uploaded to Snapchat — and Nicole hasn’t used her Snapchat recently, so it’s safe to say that she was wearing the ring on her right ring finger.

Upon reviewing the scene from Season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé where Azan proposed to Nicole, he flashed the engagement ring he picked out for Nicole to the cameras — and the ring in the photo looks a lot like the ring in the episode.

Digging deeper into Nicole’s Instagram, she shared a photo in 2016 where she showed off the same ring she wore in her Instagram story in a photo on her feed, along with a bracelet — and she was wearing the ring on her left ring finger. So, it seems like at one point she was wearing the ring as an engagement ring, so why would she switch it?

It could be that things are not going well in Nicole and Azan’s relationship ever since she returned from Morocco to the United States. Nicole and Azan were supposed to get married during her trip earlier this year, but they called off the wedding indefinitely.
