’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Ashley Hospitalized For Kidney Failure Amid Ongoing Lupus Battle

On Sunday, January 13, 90 Day Fiancé star Ashley Martson was found unresponsive in her home due to complications from her battle with lupus and was rushed to a nearby hospital in her hometown of Mechanicsburg, PA, In Touch can confirm. Despite her health scare, Ashley is doing well now and a friend took to her Instagram account to share an update with fans and ask for prayers.

“I was just messaged by a very close friend of Ashley’s — she was found unresponsive this morning at her home [and] was rushed to the ICU,” blogger John Yates, who was the first to report the news, wrote on Twitter. ” At the hospital, they found that Ashley was in kidney failure but as of right now she’s responsive. Prayers for a speedy recovery.”

Ashley’s husband Jay Smith confirmed the details with In Touch, and hours later, one of Ashley’s friends or family members shared an update via a statement posted to Ashley’s Instagram story. “Please send prayers and positive vibes to Ashley. [Her] a battle with lupus has put her into kidney failure,” the statement read. “She is in the ICU and is finally responsive. Prayers for her children as well. Thank you!”

The 31-year-old has been very open about her battle with lupus with her fans, and she often documents her struggle via social media. Just last month, Ashley revealed that she spent Christmas Day in the hospital due to another lupus flare up. “If I could ask Santa for one gift it would be good health. Being admitted on Christmas even missing Christmas morning with my children is the worst. My strength is beginning to run out but I know God‘s strength will pull me through,” she wrote on IG at the time.
