90 Day Diaries season 6 featured a special crossover episode, bringing together cast members-turned-friends Tyray Mollett, Liz Woods, and Kim Menzies from different seasons for a memorable check-in.

Tyray Was Considering San Diego As a Possible New Home

The episode began with a special update with 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 6 cast member, Tyray, who is known for his unforgettable catfish romance with Carmella.

He was still living in his hometown of Modesto, California, and took fans along as he traveled down south to San Diego as he considered it as a new potential home.

“I’m on my way to San Diego to visit some friends and have some fun, but also I want to see if I could potentially move there,” he told the cameras. “In two months I’m scheduled to have major weight loss surgery and I’m thinking maybe it’s time to make another big change in my life and move to a different city for a fresh start.”

Fans last saw Tyray on 90 Day: The Single Life in 2024, where he sparked a connection with Shannon, a woman he met in New Orleans who now lives in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, the long distance caused their relationship to “stall out.” In a candid personal update, Tyray revealed he’s still single and a virgin.

Tyray was picked up at the San Diego airport by Kim, who said they developed a close bond after appearing on the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 6 tell-all together in 2023.

Tyray and Kim Reunited With Liz at a Local San Diego Bar

Tyray and Kim later met up with Liz at a local bar, where they began to gossip about their love lives. Kim, who is known for her romance with Usman “SojaBoy” Umar, revealed a man that she “used to date” had been in her DMs but she wasn’t very interested.

“His name is Benjamin but he likes to be called B. We’ve dated before I met Usman, so I’ve known him five, maybe six years. Oh, he is very handsome, and the sex is good, so there’s that,” Kim candidly told the group. “I really just don’t want to go out with them because I don’t know if Benjamin is like husband material right now. Like he’s doesn’t have any kids, you know, he’s like a bachelor, you know, and I really just don’t want to get my heart broken again.”

Liz encouraged Tyray and Kim to find love and updated them on her relationship with Jayson Zuniga, a man she started dating months after her split from Ed “Big Ed” Brown. She revealed that Jason, who was in the military, would be restationed soon and she was adamant about not being in a long-distance relationship.

“This is the happiest I’ve been in years, and right now I don’t even know if it’s going to work out anymore,” the mom of one told her friends.

90 Day Fiance’s Liz Questions Moving With Her New Boyfriend

While Tyray and Kim looked at apartments, fans got a deeper look into Liz’s life after she called off her wedding to Ed. Liz and Jayson got dinner as they discussed the three possible options for his possible new station — Japan, Spain or Seattle.

“So I think Seattle would be the most beneficial in case you wanted to move with me,” he asked her. “Feel like our relationship is so healthy to where we’re always supporting each other, whatever it is, that this move for both of us would be very healthy. But is that something you’re willing to do?”

Liz considered moving in with Jayson but needed to consult her daughter before she made any decisions. “I made a lot of mistakes for Ed, like uprooting my life for him, and I’m very worried to do that again with my relationship with Jason,” she told fans in a private confessional. Liz later went to a bridal store with her daughter to donate her wedding dress and her daughter was receptive to the idea of the moving.

90 Day Fiance’s Kim Tries to Break Her Dry Spell

The “wow factor” trio reunited to visit Kim at the spa that she manages. During the outing, Liz dropped the bomb that she was planning on moving to Washington when Jayson was restationed.

“I think Liz moving all the way to Washington with Jason is a little too soon,” Kim said in a solo confessional. “I really don’t want her to rush into another bad situation where she has to come back to San Diego with her tail between her legs.”

Kim had news of her own, she told the group that she had a date scheduled with B. Inspired by Kim’s actions, Tyray decided to text Shannon to meet up with him in San Diego.

“We’ve all had our struggles and heart breaks, and it’s great that we’re all here to support and push each other to move on,” Kim told the group. “But if I’m being honest, in the back of my mind, I really hope we just didn’t push each other too far.”

Kim’s date with B went well. She cooked him a romantic dinner and the pair made plans for a second date. Meanwhile, Tyray met up with Shannon at a cafe.

The trio caught up over a video chat to share their latest updates. Tyray revealed his definite plans to move to San Diego, while Liz shared that Seattle felt different but she was enjoying the change.
