Kim Zolciak Reveals Son Kash Has Been Rushed to the Hospital, Nearly One Year After Dog Bite Incident

What happened to Kash Biermann?
Last year, the Kim Zolciak then-four-year-old son was rushed to the hospital and underwent surgery after he suffered injuries from a dog attack and had to get stitches on his face. Now, he's been hospitalized again.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star took to Instagram to share an update on her baby boy's health and revealed that he's sick. "Yesterday @kashbiermann AND @kanebiermann were sick ?? Thank you CHOA Urgent Care office on Mansell for ALWAYS being so understanding!" she wrote in the caption of a photo over the weekend. "Kash wanted an ice pack, then a heating pack, an ice pack again, and a heating pack once again haha on and on .. for his ear! Each time they urgently got a new one to try and make him comfortable while we waited for the doc. Kane had a high fever you would have never known ?? just really appreciate all the nurses and doctors that truly care and give each patient."

In July, Kim shared an update on Kash's health shortly after a checkup with his plastic surgeon — who performed the emergency surgery the night that Kash got bit. "Just left Dr Williams office (said I wasn't going to post but I just have too) I'm feeling so blessed. ? He is Kash's plastic surgeon! He performed the surgery the night Kash was bit! He said, 'He is pleased with his progress and he doesn't feel he will need additional surgeries' THANK YOU GOD and Thank you Dr Williams for your magical hands. Kash's face was broken and had to be pieced literally back together and due to all the swelling/trauma you don't know for several weeks if more surgery is needed in order to align the face." This is such good news — and it looks like the little tot is healing up nicely after such a traumatic experience.

"He's doing awesome, he actually has perfect vision in both eyes which is all we care about — the rest we can fix," she told Andy Cohen during a recent visit to Watch What Happens Live. "I mean, he was just unfortunately bit by a dog — he's an animal lover, I could see him being a vet at some point, that's how much he loves dogs, cats." But that's all the information that Kim was able to provide about the incident — she said she was advised not to discuss the incident any further, probably because of legal reasons.

Little Kash isn't letting one scary experience with a dog stop him from loving animals though! In a series of video clips on his mom's Snapchat, Kash looked on as his dad Kroy Biermann tried to feed a stray dog that seemed to have just given birth to puppies while they family was away on vacation at an undisclosed tropical vacation.

The dog got brave enough to get closer to her hubby and that's when Kash tried to get closer to the dog, but Kim advised him to move back a little. "Kash has been trying to give her his breakfast all morning, go figure."
