Jessie James Decker plans to enjoy time at home with husband Eric Decker and their four children this summer.

The country music singer, 38, exclusively tells In Touch what she’s intentionally saying yes — and no — to this summer season, revealing that she turned down a project to enjoy family time in Nashville.

“I turned down something that I could have done all summer long,” she says, revealing that she could be “filming something” but instead “said no.”

“So I’m saying no to things that are gonna take me away from having a Mom Girl summer with my kids,” she explains. “I wanna be able to be here with my family, do what I wanna do… Because this is my kids’ summer. This is their time for all of us to be together, so what I’m saying yes to is travel, family time, sunshine, getting together with family.”

“I’m not saying no to work,” she clarifies, “but I’m saying no to a long, extended time of work.”

The “Should Have Known Better” singer — who recently partnered with pharmaceutical research and development company AbbVie for the Love In Mind campaign — is all about advocating for yourself after living with migraine symptoms for years.

“Speak up for yourself,” she says, adding that you don’t always have to just “power through.”

The Eric & Jessie: Game On alum — who shares kids Vivianne, 12, Eric “Bubby”, 10, Forrest, 8, and Denver, 2, with her husband, 39 — tells In Touch she’s extremely proud of their brood as she watches her four children grow up.

In fact, Jessie’s favorite part of being a mom is “watching my kids be passionate about things that they love and working hard,” she says.

“Our son [Bubby] is waking up every morning, and my husband’s taking him to the school football field, so he can practice catches because he’s got middle school football that’s starting soon, and he’s dedicated, and he’s regimented, and he is fierce,” she explains. “I’m just proud of him.”

“Our daughter is a full-time Level 8 gymnast who is going to the gym four or five days a week and busting her butt and getting better and better because she wants to go to Alabama one day for college,” she says.

As for Forrest, Jessie says he’s “a musician, and he just learned to moonwalk like Michael Jackson, and he’s practicing in his room and singing at the top of his lungs.”

“And our little one is just trying to keep up with everybody,” she adds. “I’m so proud of all of them and their creativity and their drive.”
