Tom Hardy‘s future on MobLand is no longer up in the air.
Hardy, 48, has patched things up with producers and is “back in the fold” for a potential third season of the Paramount+ crime drama, The Hollywood Reporter reported Tuesday, June 30.
Per the outlet, Hardy — who stars as fixer Harry Da Souza in the London-set crime series — recently sat down with producers, including writer and executive producer Jez Butterworth, executive producer David Glasser and executive producer and director Guy Ritchie, to smooth things over following tension on the season 2 set.

Season 1 of MobLand ended with Hardy’s character stabbed, his fate left unclear, though Butterworth confirmed that Harry was alive.
“We’re not gonna [kill him]. We love Harry. We love Tom,” Butterworth said in 2025, per the report.
Season 2 wrapped in May and is expected to premiere later this year. A third season hasn’t been officially confirmed, but production is aiming to begin in the fall, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Reports that Hardy had been dropped from the series surfaced following rumors of behind-the-scenes clashes. Per the report, the Venom: The Last Dance star sometimes refused to leave his trailer and gave script notes to Butterworth and MobLand creator Ronan Barrett.
“He kept the cast waiting, [which is] a power play,” a source told THR in May. “Keeping [costars] Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren and others waiting is career suicide, I would wager.”

However, Mirren, 80, who plays Maeve Harrigan, the ruthless matriarch and mastermind of the Harrigan crime dynasty, on the series, showed her support for Hardy amid the drama, sharing a photo of him to her Instagram in May with the words “Love you now and always.”
Hardy has yet to publicly comment on the reported resolution.
