Sydney Sweeney Takes Big Step With Scooter Braun in New Zealand
Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun took a giant leap together.
On Saturday, July 25, the Euphoria star, 28, took to Instagram with a montage of photos from her trip to New Zealand. Within the spread, she revealed she took the plunge with Scooter Braun, 45, bungee jumping with the record executive over rocky mountains.
She captioned the video, “jumped over to queenstown.”
The couple was also accompanied by a group of friends, including fellow actor Noah Centineo.
Sydney Sweeney, Scooter and the rest of their crew appear to be in the middle of a traveling adventure. Before staying in New Zealand, they had all stopped in Australia for some rock climbing and scuba diving.
It has been a year since the couple connected at Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos‘ wedding. Following the ceremony, they were photographed strolling through the Italian city alongside friends Karlie Kloss and Orlando Bloom.
Several months after the European getaway, numerous outlets confirmed the pair were “casually dating.”
A source told Entertainment Tonight at the time, “Sydney and Scooter are still seeing each other and trying to be as low-key as possible, while still dating and having fun. They are just taking things slow and enjoying their time together.”
It wasn’t until last April that Sydney made their romance Instagram official. Following the businessman’s appearance alongside her at the Euphoria Season 3 premiere, she shared a photo of the two of them at the event, captioned with a white heart. He reposted her Instagram story, adding, “Lucky bastard” as his caption.
Scooter opened up about their romance during a recent appearance on the Second Thought podcast.
When asked whether he watched the last season of Euphoria, he playfully responded, “I’m catching it. I’m biased, I like it. I think there’s been an incredible performance by a certain actress.
He went on to describe their relationship as “one of the biggest surprises ever,” adding, “I’ve met an extraordinary woman who is kind and generous and smart, and real and down to earth.”
