Mia Goth has neither the time nor the energy to continue dealing with estranged husband Shia LaBeouf‘s nonsense, an insider tells In Touch.
“Some folk may be showing mercy and forgiving Shia for his drunken antics, but Mia has made it clear she’s had enough,” reveals the insider. “The burden is on Shia to prove, over the near and long-term, that he can get his act together enough to be a viable co-parent” to their 4-year-old daughter Isabel.
On Wednesday, June 3, the Fury actor, 40, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor battery charges stemming from a Mardi Gras brawl in New Orleans and was sentenced to two years’ probation, alcohol abuse rehabilitation, sensitivity training and anger management classes, per People.
“Shia wants to clean up his act,” notes the insider. “But for all his religious bluster over the last few years, he’s still haunted by his demons. Faith alone is not going to save him.”

As In Touch previously reported, a source says LaBeouf has been on a “self-destructive path” ever since Goth, 32, called things off between them last year.
“He has to put in the work if he wants his family back together, and Mia is being strict about this,” says the insider. “She can’t afford any more drama in her life because she has her own reputation in Hollywood to protect, and a lot of big players in the industry really respect her.”
Adds the insider: “She’s moving on with her life and Shia needs to factor that into his own plans.”
