Shia LaBeouf has not been doing well for a while, according to a source.
A source exclusively tells In Touch that the former Disney Channel star, 39, is “on a real self-destructive path right now,” explaining “he’s been a total mess since Mia [Goth] called things off over a year ago.”
The source claims that before Goth, 32 — who shares daughter Isabel, born in 2022, with LaBeouf — broke up with him, the Transformers actor “was doing great with his sobriety, doting on his little girl, and being a model family man.”
“But those demons have resurfaced again, big time, now he’s on his own, and Mia’s not there to keep him on track,” the source continues. “He’s putting himself into incredibly dangerous situations, and nobody’s been able to talk any sense into him.”

Additionally, the source says the Even Stevens alum “needs to get himself into rehab and find healthier ways to channel his pain,” noting “without immediate help there’s a real worry his life’s in serious danger.”
In the past, LaBeouf has been arrested multiple times and has gone to rehab.
As In Touch previously reported, the Emmy Award winner was arrested in New Orleans on Tuesday, February 17, during Mardi Gras in the early morning hours. According to TMZ, LaBeouf allegedly started a fight with a staff member from a bar in the French Quarter that led to a brawl on the street.
Per footage of the fight obtained by the outlet, LaBeouf, who was shirtless, got punched in the face multiple times by a man while on the ground.

“We gon’ beat the f**k out you, boy. Chill!” the man shouted at one point.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene, and LaBeouf got into an ambulance, as seen in photos obtained by TMZ. LaBeouf was transported to the hospital and later arrested. He is now facing two charges of simple battery, according to the outlet.
The Hollywood Reporter reported that on Tuesday, LaBeouf had a virtual court hearing and was “released on his own recognizance.” According to the outlet, he is scheduled to appear in court on March 19.
